Quilt Retreat Ashlee Doyle (Nov)

She's back! And we can't wait!

Olie & Evie Retreat, November 5-8, 2025! (Wed thru Sat)

We are thrilled to have returning guest instructor, Ashlee Doyle of Crinkly Quilts, (@crinklyquilts) come again to Olie & Evie and provide instruction for her stunning quilts, "Apple Twist and Orange Bang, with the option of a Combo Quilt. There are four sizes, baby (42” x 42”), Small Throw (54” x 60”), Large Throw (66” x 72”), Queen (90” x 90”).

It will be a "Sew Your Own Projects" Retreat plus Ashlee's two class sessions. You have the option to participate in these instructional sessions or continue to sew your own projects.

Ashlee was our guest in June and we were blown away by her creative quilt designs, use of templates (which she makes herself!), fun personality, and how engaging she was with all attendees. She is an excellent instructor and SO helpful and hands-on. Of course we happily invited her back! We are looking forward to her tips and tricks for making quilts with curves--you don't want to miss adding this to your sewingpiecing skill set. You have the option to participate in these instructional sessions or continue to sew your own projects. Ashlee will teach on Thursday (Nov 6) and Friday (Nov 7). Patterns and templates will be available in the shop for purchase.

Rhonda has rented the Lewisville Community Center for this retreat in order to accommodate 25 attendees. Most meals will be included (Rhonda and the Olie & Evie team will provide homemade DELICIOUS meals, as always) so you don't have to drag any cooking/grocery supplies along or waste valuable sewing time by going out to eat.  

Lodging at the charming and nearby Farmhouse is also available. The cost for the entire retreat plus lodging at the Farmhouse is $375 per person. Local attendees/those not staying at the Farmhouse will be $275 per person. Contact Rhonda by phone to register and pay (801) 828-8928. Ashlee Doyle is a quilt pattern designer and longarm quilter from Manhattan, Montana. She designed her first quilt pattern in 2021, and has since added more than 20 patterns to that list. She is often inspired by traditional quilts and modern fabrics, creating a lovely blend of past and present. When she is not quilting, she is chasing around her three little kids and spends her time reading, baking, and doing whatever crazy outdoorsy thing her husband has planned for them.
